How to use the IRSS-10 infrared sensor

The IRSS-10 infrared sensor offered here by Robotis is a robotic vision accessory that allows your creation to detect the presence of objects and colors up to six inches away. However, it cannot measure the distance between two objects, as their brightness and color can vary the amount of light returning to the sensor.

An object too close to the sensor will not be detected correctly. The ideal detection radius is between 1.5 and 15 cm.
