Dynamixel MX-28R servo motor: twin brother of the 28T, with the addition of RS485!

Featuring an engineered plastic housing and high-quality metal gears, the The Dynamixel MX-28R Servomotor Has a profile equivalent to that of the MX-28T.

Like all next-generation Dynamixel servomotors, it includes a driver, a gearbox, and a controller.

It is also equipped with a non-contact absolute encoder and offers improved transmission speed. The servomotor Robotis MX-28R also provides a built-in programmable feedback function.

The only notable difference with the 28T in the same series is the communication protocol via Multi Drop RS485 bus, while the MX-28T uses the asynchronous half-duplex serial communication protocol.

This package contains only 6 servomotors without the traditional accessories: screws, frames and crosses . Only servomotors are provided in this package.

Extensive programming options

The controllers of this new generation of Dynamixel servomotors from Robotis are programmable not only through RoboPlus, but also using the C language. A Software Development Kit-SDK compatible with the MX-28R is available in the resources section.
