Dynamixel AX-18A servomotor: the most powerful entry-level Dynamixel servomotor

With a stall torque of 1.83 N.m and a no-load rotation speed of 97 rpm at 12 V, the AX-18A servomotor Is the star of Dynamixel servomotors Robotis' entry-level. It replaces the AX-18F servo motor, offering comparable performance but with an improved exterior design.

Like all Dynamixel servomotors, the AX-18A incorporates a reducer , a controller and a driver and communicates via digital packages . It can be programmed with RoboPlus software.

The Dynamixel AX-18A servo motor, more powerful than the AX-12A , also communicates via a multi-drop TTL connection and is equipped with a connector for cascading multiple servomotors. The Dynamixel AX-18A is used specifically in the robotic kit Bioloid GP , the high-performance competition robot of the Bioloid series!

Servomotors must be connected to a controller (CM-700 , CM-5 , CM-510 o CM-530 ) to be piloted.
