OpenManipulator RM-X52 TNM: lightweight and efficient
This ROS-compatible robotic arm is designed as a compact version of the OpenManipulator RM-X52 , one of the TurtleBot3 accessories that allow you to extend the functionality of the mobile platform.
It is presented as a kit, with all the necessary mechanical parts and tools.
Also includes 5 TTL-compatible Dynamixel servomotors to drive the 5 available joints.
Weighing only 700 g, this OpenManipulator can handle objects up to 500 g, thanks to the payload of its servos.
The clamp can pick up objects of various sizes, from 2 to 7.5 cm wide.
A ROS accessory for TurtleBot3
This manipulator can be easily installed on a Turtlebot3 Waffle Pi or on a Turtlebot3 Waffle equipped with an OpenCR controller.
You can program it directly using the controller or connect it to the PC (you need the U2D2 Dynamixel/PC connector ).
Includes source code and the development environment needed to configure it.
OpenManipulator enjoys open source support for the 100%, so you can develop your own applications, install a lot of software
free and find solutions to their problems through the community of inventors.
